Terms of Service for GYOEDU.org and GYOEDU Courses

Welcome to GYOEDU.org. By accessing and using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should discontinue use of our site.
2. Services Provided
GYOEDU.org is an educational platform focused on gynecologic oncology. We offer the following services to our users:
- Weekly newsletters providing updates and insights into gynecologic oncology.
- Access to surgical videos related to gynecologic oncology.
- Hosting of virtual meetings, such as webinars or Zoom sessions, on relevant topics.

GYOEDU News Policies
GYOEDU newsletter subscription gives you access to previously emailed newsletters (publication updates) and ongoing newsletter subscriptions. Additionally, you can access several surgical and educational videos based on your tier (see membership tiers).
When you purchase a yearly subscription, your card is charged for the full year.
Membership Tiers
GYOEDU.org will continue to offer free access to its archive of educational videos. However, users should exercise caution when relying on these videos as the management of gynecologic cancers evolves rapidly. Access to study summaries requires signing into a free account. Residents, fellows, and attending physicians are encouraged to subscribe to the appropriate tier for additional content.
GYOEDU Courses — Support
GYOEDU Courses is a board-style medical education app for gynecologic oncology trainees and clinicians, available on iPhone, iPad, and the web. Below are answers to the most common questions. If you don't find what you need, email us — we respond within one business day.

Account & Sign-in
Signing in
You can sign in with email and password, with a magic-link email, or with Sign in with Apple on iOS. The same account works across iPhone, iPad, and the web.
Creating a new account
On iPhone and iPad, tap "Don't have an account? Create one" at the bottom of the sign-in screen and enter your email and a password (minimum 6 characters). You can also use Sign in with Apple, which creates a GYOEDU account for you on first use. On the web, use the Create account option on the sign-in screen. After your first sign-in we'll ask a few one-time questions (your role, institution) so we can personalize your dashboard.
I forgot my password
Use the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in screen to receive a reset email. Email support@gyoedu.org if you don't receive it.
My magic-link email never arrived
Hospital and academic email systems often delay or block magic links. Every account also receives a temporary password in its welcome email — try signing in with that, then change it once you're in. We can resend the temporary password on request.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
The app supports authenticator apps (TOTP) and SMS as second factors. We recommend an authenticator app for the best reliability. If you've lost access to your second factor, use a recovery code, or email support and we'll help you back in.
Sign in with Apple
Tap "Sign in with Apple" on the login screen to create or sign in to your GYOEDU courses account using your Apple ID. If you already have a GYOEDU courses account at the same email, it' linked automatically.
"Hide My Email" is fully supported. If you choose to share Apple's private relay address instead of your real email, your GYOEDU account is created with that relay address and you'll keep receiving receipts, account emails, and support replies — Apple forwards them to your real inbox.
In-app purchases
How purchases work
On iPhone and iPad, premium courses and Question Bank access are sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. Lifetime courses remain yours forever. Time-limited courses (such as the Question Bank tiers) include a clear expiration date and re-prompt you when access lapses; your progress is preserved either way.
Restoring purchases
If a course you purchased doesn't appear after reinstalling or switching devices, open the in-app menu and tap Restore Purchases.

Refunds
Refunds for in-app purchases are issued by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com within Apple's refund window to submit a request.
Using the app
Quizzes
Tap any quiz to start. You can bookmark questions to revisit, flag content for editorial review, and retake any quiz. Your answer history and progress are saved automatically so you can resume mid-quiz.
Performance dashboard
The performance dashboard breaks your scores down by category and surfaces your strongest topics and the areas that need work. It updates as you complete more questions.
Syncing across devices
Progress, bookmarks, and scores sync automatically between iPhone, iPad, and the web while you are signed in. There is no manual sync step.
For residency programs
GYOEDU supports residency programs. Program directors and associate program directors can see their residents' aggregated performance once the residents are linked to the program. Auto-linking matches on institution, email domain, and program code. If a resident isn't appearing where you expect them, email support@gyoedu.org with the resident's email and your program code and we'll resolve it.
Reporting a content issue
Tap the flag icon on any question to send us a note. We review every report and update content where needed. If the issue is broader (a video failing to play, a chapter that's missing), email us directly.
Delete your account
You can permanently delete your GYOEDU account at any time from inside the app: open the profile menu (top right) and tap Delete account. Confirm by typing DELETE. Deletion is immediate and removes your profile, sign-in, course enrollments, progress, bookmarks, and receipt PDFs from our servers.
If you can't reach the in-app option, email support@gyoedu.org from the address on file with the subject line "Delete my account" and we will delete your account within seven days. Purchase records retained by Apple are outside our control.
