Total laparoscopy hysterectomy is equivalent to total abdominal hysterectomy for clinically stage I patients

Exclusion Criteria:

evidence of extra-uterine spreadnon-endometrioid histologyuterus larger than 10wga

Results:

TAH (n=353) vs TLH (n=407):6% conversion ratemedian f/u: 4.5 years4.5yr DFS: 81.3% vs 81.6% (NS)recurrence: 7.9% vs 8.1% (NS)4.5yr OS: 92.4% vs 92.0% (NS)

Conclusions:

TLH is equivalent to TAH for women with stage I endometrial cancer
