Results:

rad hyst only (n=140) vs rad hyst/RT (n=137):grade 3/4 adverse events: 2% vs 7%median f/u: 5 yrsrecurrence: 28% vs 15% (SS)2yr PFS: 88% vs 97%death: 21% vs 13%

Conclusions:

Addition of pelvic EBRT after radical hysterectomy reduces recurrences in women with stage IB cervical cancer
