RT 4760cGy5FU 1000mg/m2/day day 1-4 of RTcisplatin 50mg/m2 day 1 of RT repeat q4wkssurgical resection with b/l inguino-femoral lymphadenectomy

Primary End Point:

Conversion to a less radical procedure

Inclusion Criteria:

squamous cell vulvar carcinomaT3-4 tumors

Exclusion Criteria:

resectable tumor

Results:

7pts did not undergo surgery46.5% no visible tumor prior to surgery53.5% with visible disease, including 3% residual unresectable disease4% could not preserve urinary and/or GI continence

Conclusions:

Pre-operative RT is feasible in advanced squamous vulvar cancer and may reduce the radically of surgical resection
